what a zombie outbreak looks like on google maps

It's completely natural to wonder what your neighborhood will look like when the zombie apocalypse arrives.

Now a SIM game from Binary Space Games gives you a peek of how it might go down. Control the zombie infection and watch how they take over this Washington DC neighborhood, on Google maps.

What we need next: map controls, so we can the zombies in our own hood.

zombie shooting fun for the family

Check out this trailer for the new Resident Evil video game: you get to shoot zombies within the trailer. What better way to get users into your product than to actually give them the product experience?

(Tell your boss that you're not just shooting zombies...you're doing marketing research.) From BrandFreak.

the sexiest zombies ever

Just in time for the zombie festivals, zombie walks and zombie bar crawls. My Zombie Pinup salutes the classic pinup style calendars with a twist: zombie girls.

Laughing Squid points out that several shots pay tribute to the classics of Gil Elvgren. Who says zombies aren't totally hot??

controlling highway signs for fun

Hacking signs is likely illegal and we don't recommend that you do this, but it's a lot of fun to look at the galleries of people have hacked highway signs.

Someone's posted instructions on how to hack your own sign - but we like the internet version better - which doesn't require actually getting your hands dirty. From Eyebeam.

friday flakes episode two

Here's episode two of Friday Flakes! Today's Friday Flakes is hosted by RJ and Darryl.

In this week's episode, we talk about:
+ A crazified, cold and gummi-less week at Plaid.
+ Darryl's zombie thumbnail

We highlight two posts from BrandFlakes:
+ A pirate store helps a non-profit
+ Yet another social media network that Caff and Dirk turned us onto

In the world of social media, we chat about:
+ The Facebook vs Burger King faceoff
+ How Twitter broke the plane crash story

We're still troubled with audio issues, but refuse to use any of our pro equipment. We're attempting to produce these episodes with Flip cameras - virtually eliminating all setup, digitizing and editing. Our goal is to produce an entire show from start to finish within 30 minutes, and zero editing. This is something we'll consider to discuss and experiment with - and your ideas are welcome!

london without people

Here's another fun activity to add to your Christmas tradition: photograph the city that you live in. That's what Ian did. Check out his amazing set of photos of an empty London.

There's only two days a year where this is possible - Christmas Day, and on the day of the zombie apocalypse. But shooting photography during a zombie apocalypse is terribly difficult, so we'd highly recommend the Christmas option.

From Coudal Partners.

what a zombie attack looks like. on twitter.

Still wondering about Twitter? Or what it's used for? Or why you need it?

What if there were a zombie outbreak? What would you share? What would your friends be doing?

KensingtonVictoria has answered the question - with a snapshot of a Twitter stream, at the height of a zombie attack.
