The days of traditional album rollouts have long been over,
and many breakout artists are finding unique ways for fans to have a more meaningful experience with their new music. Kelsea Ballerini brought some teasers direct to fans
in the midst of promoting her album “Unapologetically” through the app called
Swarm, which is owned by Foursquare.
Upon checking into the app, users were prompted to click
through and discover sneak peaks of new tracks, music videos, and the album track listing
itself. As Ballerini described her album as a “journal of the past few years”
this proved a perfect opportunity to partner with Swarm, as Swarm timed the
partnership with their 5.0 update introducing more
travel-journal-styled elements. As new and unique ways continue to emerge
enabling communicating between artist and fan, entertainers like Kelsea
Ballerini are continuing to push the envelope by developing creative ways for fans to experience their new music.
