No one doubts Taco Bell’s creds
when it comes to being masters of food innovation. This is, after all, a company that spent
years perfecting the cheese elasticity in its revolutionary Quesalupa product,
and purposely engineers foodstuffs that are optimized for Instagram image
posting.
Taco Bell has long embraced both the positive and negative social buzz generated by its quirky product roll outs. And now TB
has raised the bar yet again by adding a deeply immersive experiential item to
its menu: destination wedding. For just $600, you and your betrothed can
exchange vows at TB’s flagship Las Vegas location. Just this month, TB completed its first official test of this new service, and plans a full roll out starting this August.
Time will tell if this new service sticks around on the menu. The roll out event has thus far generated a somewhat lackluster 44K YouTube views, but the true potential won't be known until the service hits full stride, with potentially hundreds of customers a year sharing memories of their special event.
