Nikon loves NY and their customers

Posting pics on social media is all about the likes, right? Well, how about the love? Nikon has launched a new brand awareness campaign called “Show Your Love Some Love” that's focused on taking photos of the city just about everyone loves: New York City.

As a combined social and out-of-home campaign, Nikon posters and billboards can be seen up and down the “N” subway line, which not only stretches from Times Square through Queens, but is also conveniently color-coded with the Nikon yellow and black. The ads feature NYC-specific headlines that connect to the common New Yorker, for example, “Dear NY, I love how I can go through 14 countries in 2 subway stops.” Consumers also have the chance to submit their own photos of New York and why they love it by using the hashtag #NikonLoveNY to be shared on the campaign website.

This campaign is not only successfully creating brand awareness, but it's provide an engaging experience around what matters most to their customers: showing off pictures of the people and places they love.
