finally, a useful banner ad

Whether it's that t-shirt you looked at one time or the flesh light, because your buddy sent you the link thinking it was hysterical and now you've been getting weird ads ever since, we've all been a victim to relentless (and sometimes embarrassing) re-targeting. 3M brilliantly decided to make re-targeting beneficial to you with this clever little advertising trick.

The first ad you see from 3M encourages you to use their iconic Post-It Notes to type yourself a reminder (e.g. get oil changed), then all of the ads after that contain the reminder you typed yourself, making the banner ad as useful as the Post-Its themselves. Fantastic!
