small difference, huge impact
Life in economy class is tough. You're almost always guaranteed three things: no room for your overhead luggage, a crying baby seated behind you, and a fat dude seated next to you. And let's not even get started on the food. Hip Airline Virgin Atlantic is switching up their economy class, not by their food, but their food trays. Enlisting design consultancy agency, MAP, they have managed to enhance their existing tray in small ways to optimize their functionality, cut down on wasted materials, and ultimately save millions of dollars in fuel costs per year! Check out the new designs at Fast Company, and prepare to be amazed!
