evolution of the internet

The Washington Post is giving us a look back at the most popular websites since 1996. Back in the day AOL reigned as king during the dial-up days. Then Yahoo and Google came along to unseat them. And it’s not surprising to see Facebook making its way to the top in recent years. It’s actually a little bewildering not see hamsterdance.com on there though.
