For most people, bees are terrifying. They'll ruin any summer day by just buzzing around close to your ear. You'll move your seat ten times for fear of getting stung. You'll finally give up and go inside. Well, Holland-based artist AnneMarie van Splunter, is looking to create peace between humans and bees by designing a park bench in the Netherlands where bees can buzz about the bountiful flowers, and park visitors can sit in peace as the bees work. The buzzbench is meant to try and alleviate the stress people feel about these perceived flying nightmares - but warning, if you're allergic to bees, we still recommend you stay away!
