geeky dinnerware

That fancy, old-school, blue porcelain plate pattern we've all seen just got a whole lot geekier.

Artist Don Moyer created robot versions of the pattern, complete with an 8-bit pattern around the edges, and is selling them on Kickstarter to cool peeps (with excellent taste) for $25 a pop. If they're a hit, he plans to do more with UFOs, sea monsters and the like as part of his Calamityware series.

How could you NOT want to serve your next dinner on this awesomeness?

Thanks for the find, Jen!
