Coca-Cola wanted to make their billboard advertising in Isreal a little more personal, just as they did with their bottles in their previous campaign. To do that, they rigged up some local
billboards and asked consumers to download the Coca-Cola app and enter their name. Then, any time that consumer passed by one of their interactive billboards, it would send them a personalized message.
Not a new idea, as
Mini did this back in 2007 with their key fob, but still rare enough to be an fun novelty.
