scare the drink & drive out of you



Scaring the ever living crap out of people in the name of marketing seems to still be on-trend, but it's even better when it has a very logical purpose like this one from Leo Burnett London for the UK's Department of Transportation.

The concept turns a bathroom mirror in a men's room at a bar into a metaphorical dashboard of a car--you know, the dashboard your head would slam into if you get into a drunk driving accident. Watch the video for the full affect...

Very cool concept, however these are apparently actors used to make this video as the ad, vs. scaring the crap out of real people. Sort of loses the point, but it gets the message across.
