It's like prohibition in Chicago all over again, but this time with Bacon. At least it is for Flesh for Food founder Drew and his girlfriend Amanda. The couple run a clandestine operation using specially formulated cures for their bacon – cooked using wood gathered from bourbon and wine barrels, which they sell at events and directly to an ever-growing list of friends. This is the most ridiculous Bacon you've ever seen, seriously, watch the video.

They may have to operate without the required licenses due to strict and costly city and pork industry regulations, but Drew and Amanda’s dedicated fan base underground success is growing and the word is out, this is the greatest bacon Chicago has likely ever tasted.
