real-time facebook cover photo

Zaraguza, a digital agency, has figured out a way to leverage their Cover Photo to create a dynamic experience every time someone comes to the page: they set it up to display new images that were live "shots" from their office any time someone refreshed their Facebook page to create a real-time image.

It's a pretty awesome execution, but interesting to see how brands could leverage it for anything other than live events (and do so without having it broadcast it to your page every time it happens).

Edelman Digital recently wrote about a dynamic cover photo project they launched with Johnnie Walker that takes advantage of Instagram photos uploaded to a specific stream: http://www.edelmandigital.com/2012/09/05/johnnie-walker-first-interactive-cover-photo/
