A new study finds that commercials (and other media) can permanently affect your memory, essentially re-writing your memory as a revised, better version of itself.
The study says that our memories work like "save as" files, and are essentially overwritten with the latest version every time they're called up. And commercials can help us to paint our memories with more glamorous versions of themselves. Because that's what commercials do.
Marketers: We are controlling the minds of the people.
