old punks meet new punks on jet skis

Doc Martens has a new release of artists covering other artists with videos directed by awesome directors. This piece features Michael Davis of MC5 and the band D.O.A. covering the Cold War Kids' song Something is Not Right With Me. The post apocalyptic video was directed by Klaus Thymann.

What have they accomplished? Doc Martens have been the standby boots for punks over the last couple of decades. In one video they've managed to appeal to the 40+ crowd of original punk rockers (MC5 & D.O.A), a younger audience with the Cold War Kids, and people who like cool videos with jousting jet skis. Pretty sure that covers everyone.
