A recent piece on the over urban development in Florida featured on NPR prompted a Alan Taylor to put together a stunning photo essay showing the densely populated, planned-to-be populated, and the hardly populated developments in Florida, as photographed by the Google satellites.

When you look at the entire series together it's sickening, intriguing and beautiful all at the same time.
