rotting books in a forest

Here's a cool installation that some artists in Canada created by using 40,000 books to build walls, benches and carpets in the woods. The left them there to decay, and even added some mushrooms to accelerate the process.

The result is a reading room, a library, and an information platform in the middle of an outdoor hike. (That is, until some bratty tween comes by and knocks it all down.)
