target decorates the #6 train

To celebrate a new store opening in NYC, Target has wrapped a full subway train in ads.

Full train - all graphics. Never been done before. (How has this not been done before??) Even better - the graphics look awesome.

Caltrain in California, specifically San Francisco to San Jose has been doing this for years. Usually terrible graphics for the SF Giants or Radio Stations. The downside is the view is degrader for riders. (Caltrain is mostly above ground running from San Francisco to San Jose - so the views are beautiful)

Trains in Mumbai have been doing it for years too. Primitive graphics but still effective. Check it out http://bit.ly/axNDgU

This has been done before. A lot. The Shuttle to Times Sq. is almost always fully wrapped. Inside AND out.

Grant the shuttle train is a bit shorter than the other train lines.

Never been done before? Grafitti writers were decorating full trains back in the 70's! :-)
