wanted: guerrilla gardeners

Guerrilla gardening is the practice of dropping "seed bombs" - packets of seeds, fertilizer and clay into empty, abandoned spaces in cities. Design firm Common Studio came up with a super cool way to make this easy and fun.

They've produced seed bomb vending machines, available for sale to retailers in the city, so that citizens can purchase the packets of seeds and begin planting. Prepare for Los Angeles to get a whole lot of pretty this spring.
