we're almost out of carbon

Carbon Danger looks to raise awareness about the growing global warming crisis. There's an interesting perspective presented that puts the level of C02 emissions in the form of a budget. We should only emit 1 trillion tons of C02 between 2000 and 2050 to keep the icebergs out of NYC. With what we've "spent" so far, there's about 760 billion tons left in our budget. At our current burn rate, we're going to run out by 2020. Uh oh.

The site documents the Carbon Danger activities and plans. We just like that they've created a custom plaid pattern symbolizing the battle between fossil fuels and all things green.
