the history of rounded rectangles

I love this post on UI&us - not for the discussion of more efficient graphical user interfaces, but for the history of the rounded rectangle.

It's cool to see how the digital concept of rounded edges was born - and how they're all around us in life, protecting us from sharp edges or a good poke in the arm. Thanks, Steve Jobs.
