not the kind of viral you were planning for...

While flying to Nebraska, musician Dave Carrol had an unhappy experience with United Airlines. While on the tarmac at O'Hare Airport, he was horrified to look out the window of his plane to see baggage handlers tossing his $3500 guitar around. When it arrived smashed, he pursued the issue with United Airlines. You've probably already guessed where this is going...

Dave didn't get a new guitar so he decided to tell the story in song. And video. And now the message continues to spread.

Guess he should've had a flight case for that guitar. I've traveled with guitar and put it in the overhead storage.

Ouch! If I had been cheated out of $3500 beans I would have written a song too! I feel a fraction of his pain though...Delta stole a book from me on a "same plane" layover in Atlanta. Apparently it was my fault for leaving it on my seat while I stretched my legs in the gate for 5 minutes. Still bitter - not because of the book, but because of the lack of service/empathy I received from every person I talked to.
