these fire extinguishers are totally hot

Here's proof that design can make even the most mundane products totally desirable. Don't you want one for every room in your house?

The 'problem' with making safety devices trendy is the public is more likely to confuse them for something else. Safety items, like fire extinguishers, defibrillators, and the emergency call number "nine one one", need to be recognized without a second thought. If the EXIT sign in the building could be any design then many people would have to think too hard in a panic time. The benefit of having emergency equipment and notification would be diminished.

Yeah, but remember - Fire Design is a French company, and the French don't panic.

"My house is on fire? eh... I was tired of her anyway."

Safety be damned- these are fantastic looking. Hell, I want to put one in every room of my apartment. What could be safer than that?
