tasty catch of the day



Want to raise awareness about the type of crap people-beasts are leaving all over the beaches of North America? Why not package it up and show them? That's what the Surfrider Foundation did.

Actual trash, packaged all nicely, and placed conveniently into the local farmer's market. From UnderConsideration.

I'm a paying member of Surfrider and I ride year round here in NH - so I'm absolutely all for creating more awareness around the trash on the beaches -

I'm wondering how that Styrofoam bottom (I hope what I see isn't true...but it certainly looks like Styrofoam) is going to get recycled after this campaign is over - or will that be ending up in a landfill and / or the ocean once this is tactic has run its course?

Good idea - gotta follow it all the way through to make the point fully....
