don't be the dumbass on twitter
If you're new to Twitter, or thinking about jumping in and finding out what all the hub bub is all about, then you'll want to read this post on Mashable about followers.
There are hundreds or thousands of people touting Twitter success, counting followers, and proclaiming themselves as experts...with about twelve weeks of experience.
So if you don't want to be the dumbass at the party, take Atherton's advice, and be yourself. Be interesting. And don't stress over followers. (Oh, and don't act like that sleazy insurance sales dude, at the party.)
