twitter releases new spam fighting tool
You're on Twitter, tweeting away to the twitterverse, and you get a notification of a new follower. Hooray! Except a quick check on the follower shows they're following about 2,359 people, and only 4 people are following them. Every single one of their tweets points to their stupid blog on "how to quit your day job and make a fortune at home, while losing weight and having more sex"
Twitter feels your pain. So they've created a spam fighter. Just follow Spam, and send a direct message (or a reply) with the evil spammer's Twitter name, and they'll take care of it! From Techcrunch. You can continue tweeting now.
