tired of twitter? try plurk.

Everyone's a flitter because Twitter if flailing. Can't keep up with the demand, and it keeps crashing. Then along comes Plurk. A lot like Twitter, but a little bit different. I like the scrollable time lines of Plurks.

Check it out if you want. Even if most people on Plurk are just talking about Twitter. Or FriendFeed.

It's proof of at least one thing. Tools like Twitter are never guaranteed their place in the marketplace. And performance issues can leave users more open to alternatives. Because when people don't pay for a product, they demand performance. Or something like that.

(Don't look me up. To date, I'm still devoted to Twitter.)
