how big oil does logos

Check out Raymond Loewy's original sketches for the Exxon logo.

Think your client or department is slow at approving things? This was sketched in 1966, but the new logo wasn't implemented until 1972. Probably because their internet was really slow back then.

Silly me, I went and got a degree in this stuff. Apparently all you need is a cocktail napkin and a pencil.

did anyone know that this symbol is admitted as being the ancient 'double cross' of christianity and secret societies.

likewise, the shell of shell oil co. is actually not a shell, but an ancient symbol of the sun rising over the hills in the east.
a popular symbol throughout the eastern world.

i bet they were tempted by the pyramid shaped exxon logo too!
