joni mitchell: annoying music, cool photography

Even if you don't like old school folk/hippie rock, you can love Joni Mitchell's photographs. Make the logo bigger points to a collection of Joni's photographs of images taken from a broken tv.

Sometimes it's cooler to get altered reality WITHOUT photoshop. And broken tv's are always a hoot to play with. Really nice work. But that song "You're so vain" still annoys me. Sorry, Joni.

"You're so vain"-- so very annoying! But don't blame Joni, it was Carly Simon.

Oh yeah - thanks Beatgrl. And you're right - Carly Simon is sooo more annoying than Joni Mitchell.

Regardless of how you feel about her music, it's pretty cool that Joni Mitchell created cover art for every single album she did. Some are more graphic (The Hissing of Summer Lawns, Hejira, and Don Juan's Reckless Daughter) and some feature her paintings, but it's pretty cool to see an artist succeed at so many different things (photography, painting, design) even if she'll always be better known for her music.
