great radio ads. only once in a lifetime.




The radio industry is LEGENDARY for the crappiest ads ever.

Usually because they're too cheap to pay for it (did I say that?), and get everything on "trade." Standard billboards in the industry include massive size logos on billboards.

As if you'll drive by the billboard, and say "wow, that logo is so huge, I think I'll check out that station." Even better are the ads with photos of their DJ's. "That man looks like a fat slob. I think I'll tune to that station now."

Well, glory glory - someone came up with a nice campaign for radio. (Now, if they could just reintroduce kids to what radio is, the industry might be ok.)
