geeks rejoice: girl version of digg

Some girls got together and created a female version of Digg - the user-voted news/content site that rocks the internet and scoops mainstream media on everything.

Titled sk*rt, and billed as being "for skirts, by skirts," users can suggest content or vote for content digg style. Except it's all about girlie stuff.

As I'm writing this post, the site is actually down - the victim of too much popularity, too fast - and I assume they couldn't keep up with bandwidth. Girl power on overdrive. Bookmark it, and check back later for loads of girlie action.
