track your friends like dogs

This trend is pretty late in hitting the U.S. but there's a new social network that's hit the interweb, called Dopplr. With this tool, you can track where all of your friends are on a map. Similar apps are all the rage outside of the U.S.

For now, Dopplr is in beta, and you've got to know someone to get an invite. (I don't have one, don't ask me. And none of my friends are worthy of tracking anyway. Just a bunch of blips sitting still, staring at their computer screens.) ;-)
