kaiser chiefs say unpluggit There's a campaign to unplug your devices, in an effort to save energy. Like your cell phone charger, after your phone is already charged. As you might expect, it's called UnpluggIt. Anyway, coolio band The Kaiser Chiefs just signed on with their support, in the cute YouTube clip above. (If you don't know who the Kaiser Chiefs are, then you'll just see a couple of cool english dudes talking about unplugging stuff.) Carry on. Labels: green, technology, trends, youthmarketing

It's not much of a sacrifice to unplug unused stuff, and personally, I was unaware that chargers continued to draw power when not in use if left plugged in to an outlet. It seems like a smart idea to start a campaign of energy awareness with things that require no actual sacrifice other than remembering.
I saw this too. I had no idea! I went to the unpluggit website where there's some other cool videos.
There's a petition on the website too which I signed. It should be the phone companies that do something about this.
