get your customers involved. now.

Bitchin' article in the Los Angeles Times yesterday about the power of including customers into your marketing efforts.

One of the amazing examples cited includes the Nike Plus website - where runners can track their performance, progress, and compare with friends/other runners - using their iPods and their Nike's.

Giuli's been using this in our office for a few months now. And she's not alone. 200,000 runners are using the site. And guess what - they visit the site at least four times a week. That's more than TWICE THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF VISITS TO STARBUCKS. That's branding power.
