how to make a bedroom out of cardboard



If you don't mind sleeping in a fire trap, here's a very sweet idea for building an indoor log cabin. Giant recycled cardboard tubes.

I built it. I live in it. I was a concerned with fire too, but the tubes are an industrial product, and as such, are engineered to be fire retardant. All of the edges where a flame could easily get started are covered and insulated. What remains are half-inch-thick, round cardboard tubes with no corners or edges to catch. Still, I'm not trying to smoke in bed either.
