oops. pay attention to props ![]() Personally, I'm surprised that anyone reads American Way Magazine, while on an airplane. But I guess plenty of people do. Bill Baker found a most embarrassing mistake in the latest issue, while on a flight last week. As part of an on-going promotion geared toward road warriors, American Airlines asked readers to tell their business travel stories. The best ones win prizes. The grand prize winner gets a million frequent flier miles from American, two million Hilton points and a Panasonic Toughbook laptop. The current issue of the publication features a full page shot of the grand prize winner. She's poised on a rock, with her laptop on her knees. One problem: The laptop is an IBM ThinkPad. Not the Panasonic Toughbook that she took home as grand prize. Oops. Labels: adindustry, marketing, photography
