Here's what happened this week at the world's most ghoulish design and branding firm:

Giuli began prop shopping for the production that will become our annual holiday card. I really think we've got a good one this year. Not often that you get to shop for nuclear reactor salvage equipment. Photography/video shoots are scheduled for next week.

We bought our first island in Second Life, for a project that we're working on for a client to be announced soon. Really BIG stuff.

David, Leigh and Justus completed some great design work for a few sites that are in-house - one for a regional bank chain, one for a GPS manufacturer, and another for a regional accounting firm. Paul nearly completed an extranet for Virgin Records.

I booked another trip to Minneapolis next week - to speak at a national sales meeting for the Flambeau River Paper Company. Leigh has almost finished their swatch book, which came out beautiful. I'm looking forward to hanging with a bunch of paper guys. (I think.)

And of course, we did some gravestone rubbings, on Halloween.

Hi,

If you are in Minneapolis and want to meet up with a fellow blog reader/blogger let me know.

We could grab coffee and talk about what we see branding, design (i'm new to the design world) or whatever happening in the blogosphere. I do media trend research at Carmichael Lynch and spend my time looking in on designers/branders/communicators worlds.

I'm just getting my semi-professional blog up and going (it's really ugly, but it's a start) @ www.5and42.com.

Let me know,

This trip will be massively tight on time - but I'd hang with a fellow blogger any day. Sending you email as we speak.
