Uber geeks go to TED. TED is the ultimate conference where industry leaders talk about technology, entertainment and design. You have to be ultra cool to get accepted, and you need $4400 for the registration fee. And then, you get to hobnob with people like Nicholas Negroponte, Al Gore, Cameron Sinclair, Jeff Han, Tony Robbins and many other geek stars. Past TED conferences have included speakers like Bill Gates, Frank Gehry, Jane Goodall, Herbie Hancock, and Peter Gabriel.
Well now, you don't have to be as cool, and you don't need the $4400 registration fee. Itunes has both video and audio versions of the talks, that you can download for free.
