introducing crowdsourced software

Cambrian House seems to be the ultimate web 2.0 development community. A site devoted to collecting ideas, teaming together contributors, and creating projects. Everyone who participates in the process shares in the profits. They call it Crowdsourced Software. Their mission:

Cambrian House's mission is to discover and commercialize software ideas through the wisdom and participation of crowds. Contributors earn royalties, sharing in the success of the products.

This is a really cool idea, worthy of further exploration.
