viral marketing has made me paranoid

Viral marketing has made me a paranoid conspiracy theorist. I was watching a few minutes of the Today Show and saw this story about a pilot who wrestled a snake in his plane. And all I could think of was - this is viral. It's setup to promote Snakes on a Plane. Look for the flaw - this can't be real. That pilot must be an actor.

I think the story is real. And I'm just paranoid. Every oddball story that seems too silly to believe has, in my head, become a part of someone's viral campaign. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying.
