trapped! apple turns elevator into human display case
So much hoopla over the new Apple store on Fifth Avenue. Which makes it even funnier when Apple customers get stuck in the Willy Wonka style glass elevator. Apple employees couldn't free them, so the NYPD is eventually called in for the rescue. That's 45 minutes of feeling like a window display. Even better - the employees using Harry Bertoia chairs as step stools. A great day for high design.
