sketches of frank gehry
Next week brings the release of Sketches of Frank Gehry, a Sydney Pollack documentary on the legendary architect. The two are friends, and Sydney produced this film over the last five years. Much of the piece was shot on DV, which allowed Sydney to be an unobtrusive guest in Gehry's life. This should be a wonderful look at how cocktail napkin sketches turn into pieces of art that we live and work in. From PSFK
