criticize ads, and get sued?

I'm not sure what to say about this one. I mean, I don't want to get sued. Check out this ridiculous story about an alleged ad agency that's suing a blogger because the blogger criticized their alleged creative work.

According Lance Dutson, the blogger - he criticed the ad because it allegedly mistakenly featured a phone sex number, instead of the real number. Something any advertising blog in the blogosphere might have posted about. The alleged agency, Warren Kremer Paino Advertising and the Director of the Maine Office of Tourism (the alleged client) followed with an alleged multi-million dollar suit.

Lance has posted contact information for both agencies, should his readers like to call them, and share their thoughts. Haha. And he's fighting back. You can read his side of the story on his blog, the Maine Web Report. Time to cancel that alleged summer vacation to Maine.

Darryl,

The lawsuit is not alleged. It is quite real.

Robert -

You are so correct. I was trying to be a smart-ass, and that got in the way of accuracy here. Smart ass becomes dumb ass.

The lawsuit is indeed very real, and absolutely ridiculous.

We wholeheartedly support everything the MBA is doing in support of Lance Dutson. Keep up the good work.
