The National Association for Manufacturers has a blog. And one of the things they feature on their blog is videos of things being made. This reminds me of the segments they used to do on Sesame Street, where you'd see stuff being produced in a factory. We were just discussing those segments the other day in our shop - in relation to another project that we're working on. Those were great.
Anyway, at the NAM blog, you can watch cool stuff being made. They realized that there might be an audience for this, and they were right. The blog was just featured on BoingBoing, and today shows up as one of the most bookmarked sites on delicious. Now that's an industry association, getting some attention - and making the best of a blog.
